I lost my mom today

My PeachIt was a tough fight we put up together, she doing all the work of course. It lasted over 6 weeks for her, I was here for over 4 straight. Her heart was just too damaged from the attack to come back.

My mom was a very special person. Not vegan, but she loved Soy Boy ravioli and anything with tofu in it. Even though she was very traditional, she’d try any food I offered with a totally open mind. Just the way she was and a whole lot more I won’t go into.

I will miss her very much.

She loved as well as was… a peach.

I just prayed for you. I’m encouraged by the tone of your post, the way you are remembering happy moments with your mother, and the fondness and deep love that comes through in your words. My prayers are with you during this challenging time.

  5. Denise,
I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. I lost mine in 1989, and nothing has been the same since. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

  6. I came on here looking for vegan yoghurt. Read one of your blogs from February last year and your words sounded…happy. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to read another one so I went for the most recent and to read this made me feel so sad. The complete juxtaposition of the two blogs. I hope you will be strong. Thoughts and prayers with you.

A mother’s love always transcends even death. I lost my mom 22 yeas ago and still feel her love beaming down on me. You will, too. Take care of yourself.
